Please book one ticket for each person attending. \n\n\n\nKevin Smith from The Worm Shed presents on all aspects of worm farming and the role worms play in recycling and waste management. This is followed by a demonstration of setting up and maintaining a worm farm. \n\n\n\nResidents and ratepayers of the City are entitled to a $130 subsidy on an advanced worm farm set-up and/or a $65 subsidy on 1kg of worms\, both of which will be available for purchase on the day. \n\n\n\nWorm Farm Subsidy \n\n\n\nThe City of Swan offers residents and ratepayers a subsidy to get your worm farm going! Worm farming is a simple way of converting food scraps and other organic materials into nutrient rich products for the garden. \n\n\n\nAdvanced setup: \n\n\n\n\nA ‘Worm Café’ worm farm including approximately 4\,000 worms (1kg)\, 15 litres of castings for bedding\, 500g dolomite\, a worm blanket and a comprehensive instruction booklet.\n\n\n\nUnit cost is $260\, subsidy is $130 and your price to pay is $130.\n\n\n\n\nWorms only: \n\n\n\n\n1kg of worms.\n\n\n\nUnit cost is $130\, subsidy is $65 and your price to pay is $65.\n\n\n\nYou may purchase a larger quantity of worms\, but the maximum subsidy for worms only is $65.\n\n\n\n\nTo claim the subsidy: \n\n\n\nCollect your worm farm to take home\, set up and enjoy. \n\n\n\nPre-order your worm farm when you RSVP for a City of Swan worm farming workshop. \n\n\n\nAttend the workshop with proof of your address or a rates notice. \n\n\n\nPay in cash. \n\n\n\nDayton Community Centre211 Arthur St\, Dayton WA 6055\, Australia
