DESCRIPTION:Join the 2026 Sustainability Festivities \n\n\n\nThe next annual Sustainability Festival will be held at the Dandenong Market on Sunday 22 March 2026. \n\n\n\nIt is a wonderful celebration of all the ways we can get involved to protect our planet. This free\, family friendly event has activities\, give aways and experts ready to answer your questions about how to live more sustainably. \n\n\n\nThe 2026 theme is ‘Change Starts at Home’.  \n\n\n\nThis refers to designing or making small changes to your home to stay safe\, comfortable and reduce costs as the weather and climate changes. Making changes can help reduce your impact and help you and your home bounce back quicker from things like heat or storms.   \n\n\n\nSome examples of this are: sealing or draft proofing\, electrifying\, reducing waste\, or planting trees and ground covers to reduce heat. \n\n\n\nIf you’d like to know more\, email sustainability@cgd.vic.gov.au.
