Job Opening – Willoughby Council Composting Facilitator

Willoughby Council in NSW plan to offer selected home owners the opportunity for a Council-supported home composting program. They are currently looking for a compost facilitator to visit homes, determine the best location, set up the bins, educate the participants, and deliver short follow-up check-in and reporting.

The program will be available in the suburbs of Chatswood, Willoughby, Northbridge, Naremburn, Castle Cove, Castlecrag, and Artarmon and starts March 2026 with an expected 70-100 households throughout the year.

While the council will provide tools and equipment, the facilitator will need to invoice the Council and have flexibility with scheduling.

    Hi,
This is so amazing that the Council is organising (and paying) someone to do this kind of work!
Is there a magical way for us to get this happening in Brisbane?
