Hey LOCCAL members and supporters…

International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) is coming up in May, and we’re putting together an exciting online event to connect and celebrate community composting across Australia.

To make it a success, we are going to need your help!

We’re looking for volunteers who can join a working group to help plan and organise the event. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to contribute, there will be plenty of ways to get involved, such as:

• Creating a short video about your composting efforts to showcase community composting during the event.
• Helping with promotion – spreading the word through social media, community newsletters, and your local networks.
• Organising bookings and logistics – helping to coordinate speakers, sessions, or providing tech support.
• Hosting or presenting – keeping the event engaging and and running smoothly on the day.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow community composters, share your knowledge, and to help grow the movement across Australia.
