LOCCAL needs a logo!

Since we launched the Local Community Compost Alliance in 2024 we have basically been using a bit of clipart, which is alright, but… we want you to tell us:

What symbol would you be proud to wear when out building soil and community around your part of Australia?

Get your sketching pencils out and let us know!

This year we will vote to choose the ultimate community composting logo to bring our wonderful compost community together around, and then produce the chosen logo design on a fully compostable tee shirt to share across the rest of the continent (and planet).

If you submit the winning entry, you will receive:

• The logo converted to production quality, print-ready files by a professional designer (as needed!)
• An announcement to the entire world and feature article on our blog
• A complimentary fully-compostable tee shirt featuring your design
• The undying gratitude of the masses
• Fame (optional) and a cool story to tell your friends, family and neighbours

Submission are open from Sunday 10 May until 8.30pm on Sunday 26 July 2026.

Terms:

• Anyone from absolutely anywhere may enter.
• You can submit as many designs or variations as you like.
• Shortlisted logos may be shared with the LOCCAL members.
• All logo designs must be original creations and can’t directly copy or reuse any graphic designs already in use.
• if your design is selected, you agree that it will become the exclusive intellectual property of LOCCAL and will be used as a trademark for the association going forward.
