If you’re a passionate composter, register to attend our free advanced training course in composting.

You’ll gain further skills and knowledge to encourage others in your local community to start composting. With online preparation commencing in April and in person 2 day training on Sat 2 May and Sat 16 May. After completing the course and 20 volunteer hours, you will receive a Master Composter certificate.

The course includes sessions on:

• the science of composting
• composting methods
• food recycling techniques
• troubleshooting
• facilitation skills
• how to help others learn about composting.

We encourage you to apply if you:

• have experience in composting or worm framing, either at your home or community garden
• can commit to a combination of online and in-person training (attendance is essential)
• can complete 20 hours of volunteer work within 12 months of completing the training.
