Step into a magical outdoor experience where nature, stories, and creativity come alive!
This joyful, hands-on workshop invites children and their grown-ups to connect through storytelling, soil, and seeds, all set in the beautiful Tarneit Community Garden.
Led by author and wellness educator Kerry Castree, the session features an interactive reading of her bestselling book Will and the Magical Sunflower, followed by playful garden activities designed to spark curiosity and build connection.

- 📖 Storytime with props and visuals from Will and the Magical Sunflower
- 🪱 Worm discovery and compost exploration
- 🎨 Creative colouring, courage worm, and seed planting
- 🌼 Seed harvesting for the Community Seed Library
- 🎁 Take-home sunflower seeds + a rubber courage worm
This is a nature-based, screen-free, soul-filling session that inspires confidence, curiosity, and calm, perfect for primary-aged children and their parents, carers, or grandparents.
